Keep up to date with the latest versions of your Asset Register.

You can tell if you have the latest released version of Asset Register by going to your preferences screen found
in the 'Edit ' menu'. Written on the bottom of the widow is a six digit number which is just short for the date that
your particular version was released and posted for download from this site.

Compare this figure with the figure below to see if you have the latest updates. By browsing the information below

There have been some significant enhancements made to this update,
we would definitely recommend you updating your present version.

1.) Added summaries facility so list view can be broken into
categories with summery values given for each category. This facility
follows through into reporting enabling the 'Asset Figures' report to
generate summery figures for each category.

2.) Right clicking in the category, location, department or responsibility
windows enables fast finding for groups of records in the main window.

3.) Instantly change all text to either upper or lower case. This has been
introduced for reporting purposes.

4.) Opening and closing book values now stagger down when viewing asset
depreciation for single months.

5.) You will need an updated version of the helpfile.txt if updating an existing version.

Some of the following changes have been made to better equipped the program for changes
in Fixed Asset Accounting for NZ Schools required by the Ministry of Education released
July 2002.

1.) Now able to print help files.
2.) Added replace facility to replace data in a field across many records at once.
3.) Depreciation can now be entered either as a depreciation rate or expected life
with the program calculating accordingly.
4.) Imported data will now be displayed in the list immediately upon import.
5.) Expected life has been added to reports.

Fixed problem with printing one single asset.

Added flagging of assets with depreciation values different to defaults.
This allows batch updating of changed default depreciation values but skips
over and leaves untouched those assets that have been flagged.
